The Coding Adventure Advanced course, developed by CodeMonkey, includes 420 engaging programming challenges. Students will learn basic commands, loops, variables, arrays, “for” loops, functions, Boolean logic (if-else, AND, OR), NOT statements, comparisons, and function values to help the monkey complete the task of collecting bananas.
The Game Builder course, also developed by CodeMonkey, guides students to reinforce the programming skills learned in Coding Adventure and apply that knowledge to create and build new games. The course includes three parts:
– Platformer: Teaches the fundamentals of game design, including keyboard user interface and game mechanics, such as keyboard input, timers, and more.
– Frogger: Teaches how to design games that are compatible with touch devices and smartphones.
– Sprite Animations: Teaches how to design graphics, program animations, and integrate designed characters into games.
CodeMonkey is an online platform that teaches coding skills and computational thinking to students through fun and engaging challenges.
